Honduras & Colombia Stewardship Associate
Position´s objective
Monsanto’s North America Marketing and Product Management organization is looking for a Honduras & Colombia Marketing & Stewardship Associate to support in-country commercial stewardship activities and brand promotional communications.  The successful candidate will ensure the execution of company stewardship strategies that enable customer access to technologies while maintaining  freedom to operate by delivering on legal and regulatory stewardship requirements.  The individual will also support the implementation of the regional communication strategy to drive the marketing plan for Monsanto’s branded seed.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and communicate the annual commercial stewardship plan with detailed activities to support distributors, including training, visits and reports.
  • Present the detailed stewardship plan to dealers and communicate its value, describing the activities to be audited at each stage of the process.
  • Provide in-person training for distributors, sub-distributors and sales team at the beginning of each planting season.
  • Lead the stewardship audit process for the commercial chain to ensure internal and external stewardship compliance.
  • Responsible for monitoring the stewardship activities of distributors & internal teams and communicate its value.
  • Provide the necessary information for reports required by regulatory agencies to Regulatory Affairs to maintain the company’s compliance with conditions of registration.
Support insect and integrated weed management programs by partnering with other teams to develop recommendations and guidelines for good stewardship practices.
  • Support the development of the marketing plan for  branded seeds together with the Brand Managers, regarding the technologies stewardship compliance.
  • Contribute to the implementation or the regional marketing plan by gathering and analyzing the technical TD information, market trends and market intelligence research to meet the defined business objectives and current /future customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective and timely communications plans to support new product launches by tuning technical information into the band guidelines.
  • Support regional marketing plan by coordinating events and brand activities through the Demand Generation Team, e.g., training and region-specific presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of advertising campaigns according to the brand strategy to create a customer experience aligned to the brand pillars in the different regions.
Education, Knowledge and Experience
 
Required studies level: Bachelor’s Degree
Studied areas:                 B.S. in agriculture, business, marketing, biotechnology, or related field
Experience needed:       Two or more years of relevant work experience (agriculture industry preferred).
Experienced areas:         Commercial areas (TD, Marketing, Sales, Demand Generation), Regulatory or Public Affairs, Biotechnology.
English requirements:   90 %
