Manufacturing Treatment Process Manager

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Treatment Process Manager. This position will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to our North American Production Partner Lead.

This position will serve as manufacturing representative on treatment launch teams and SAS Supply Chain Steering Teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze manufacturing data for trends, focus areas and project justification
• Act as a change agent while building & implementing treatment improvements site by site and across all crops
• Support sites in development and continuous improvement of consistent, documented treatment processes that support the business as needs evolve
• Coach, train and educate sites on use of tools, optimization & leverages to increase efficiency and decrease treatment costs
• Partner across crops and functions to lead and drive treatment optimization initiatives for both internal and external MFG locations
• Ownership of accurate and complete MOC’s for all internal seed MFG sites responsible for seed treatment
• Represent commercial Row Crop MFG operations on cross functional teams to develop new trait and treatment launches including Groundbreaker programs
• Lead training and execution efforts as new treatments are launched which includes yearly SOP reviews and site operator networks
• Partner with leadership team to manage commercial Row Crop treatment LRP and Capital files to ensure effective project planning, tracking, progress and spend
• Coordinate treatment operational plans with Row Crop MFG Crop Leads to ensure strong integration plans and sustained operational excellence
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain functions to leverage optimization best practices and contribute to cross global and regional optimization efforts
• Manage MFG treatment costing inputs with Finance teams for accurate COGs and manufacturing inputs
• Analyze, diagnose, make recommendations, and create compelling proposals to optimize the seed treatment operations (Reliability Index, Yield Analysis, D&O), and present alternatives to the leadership team.
• Follow up on customer complaints pertaining to product quality to ensure proper root cause analysis, preventive action, implementation and effectiveness
• Partner to ensure strong testing plans (Service Level Agreements) and capabilities to drive quality decisions

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective problem solving and coordination of information

• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to coordinate execution across a broad group
• Ability to analyze large data sets efficiently
• Knowledge of data management methods and tools for collecting and presenting complex data
• Demonstrated accountability in a highly independent environment
• Outstanding communication skills including the capability to clearly present information, influence or persuade others through oral or written communications
• Results oriented with ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests
• Ability to work and collaborate in a matrix environment to achieve results
Education, Training and/or Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture or related area
• Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Supply Chain roles and/or in continuous improvement & optimization
• Familiarity with the seed industry, quality and/or supply chain processes
