Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Business Experience Architect.  This position will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to our Global IT Customer Partner
The Business Experience Architect will play a key role in the Global Commercial IT organization, responsible for designing innovative business strategies, through understanding the right problem, designing the right solution for the right people, helping drive coherency and delivering measurable results that delight users. 
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with business stakeholder to identify opportunities by understanding strategic themes, drivers, and environmental factors 
* Create a plan with stakeholders to redefine existing strategies and values, including documenting objectives and mapping KPIs 
* Conduct “current state” workshops and/or interviews with impacted personas to understand behaviors, goals, tasks, tools, workflows, friction points, risks, and priorities and document results via journey maps and personas  
* Lead discussions with stakeholders to ideate and prioritize new business experiences 
* Define value chain components and assign matching KPIs 
* Translate business solution into an engaging experience for impacted personas
* Facilitate feedback sessions with impacted personas to assess “to-be” experience, analyze findings and iterate designs 
* Identify capabilities and align experience to objectives, values and KPIs  
* Assess maturity of current capabilities  
* Define maturity targets of impacted capabilities to meet objectives and KPIs 
Required Skills/Experience:
 
* Bachelor’s degree required.
 
* Minimum of 7+ years related experience designing innovative business strategies in a Business Experience Architect or similar role
 
* Understanding of how to structure data definitions and systems to support business processes and capabilities
 
* Facilitating and partnering with business stakeholders to identify business KPIs, ensure alignment of initiative objectives with organizational strategy
 
* Translating business and user needs into valuable business solution delivered through highly engaging human experiences
 
* Developing an experience strategy and conceptualize the experience using methods and interaction design concepts such as storytelling, day-in-the-life and interaction scenarios, storyboarding, task and interaction flow modeling, and wireframing  
 
* Ability to facilitate and collaborate on conceptual design across roles
 
* Designing and facilitating group and individual sessions, including the collection of data and the ability to analyze and synthesize data captured 
 
* Ability to design and facilitate feedback sessions in a non-leading unbiased manner with the ability to prioritize, gain consensus, and alignment
 
Desired Skills/Experience:   
 
* Strong working knowledge and/or experience developing IT based business solutions in a large matrixed organization
 
* Knowledge of and/or experience with Human Centered Design/Design Thinking principals and methods
 
* Ability to communicate and present ideas with business and IT partners
 
* Ability to lead and manage teams through influence, driving strategy and vision 
 
* Demonstrate interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration, buy-in, consensus building, team building, and stakeholder engagement 
 
* Demonstrate transformational experience developing and implementing initiatives that support the organizational strategy
 
* Ability to apply analytical (data informed) and critical (questioning) thinking to conceptualize the experience 
 
* Ability to report and tell stories through written narrative, spoken, and visual communication
 
* Demonstrate foresight to visualize solutions and anticipate the impact of change
