Trade Partnership Manager
The Trade Partnership Manager works with chain partners to develop understanding and insight into the needs of the chain downstream of growers.
The Trade Partnership Manager develops the Pull Effect inside the fresh produce chain to create demand for our current & short term (1-2 years) commercial range as well as for new initiatives.
To generate this pull effect, the external Stakeholders that the Trade Partnership Manager targets are:traders, packers, shippers, exporters, wholesalers, retailers.
To be effective, this role requires a state of the art overview of own local market and insights in the regional market.
Internally, the TPT is in frequent contact with our Sales, Marketing, TD & Breeding teams to develop impacting pull marketing plans and help increasing our market share in the targeted markets.
The TPM will represent the commercial team in a specific Market Crop Team, ensuring to provide the country insights-trends to the group.
The TPM is expected to coach and support our Key Account managers to help them having conversation beyond the “traditional” growers feature advantages and benefits of our varieties.
The role of TPM is focused on the current assortment and on the short term portfolio(1 or 2 year horizon), exploiting varieties opportunities to increase and maximize sale possibilities on the bulk part of the vegetable market.
The TPM analyses and advises management on market developments and commercial possibilities concerning relevant growers organizations, traders, shippers, exporters, importers, retailers based on the specific targets for chain management aimed at increasing market share, facilitating sales and capturing extra value.
Education: Degree in marketing, communication or agr/consumer marketing & trade
Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant marketing, commercial or business development experience in vegetable chain (fresh produce, trading, retail) food or seed business. Fresh produce BtoB experience is valuable.

Knowledge: Vegetable Fresh Produce & processing Business Chain functioning and stakeholders highly preferred. Understanding of crop production patterns, consumer behaviours and retailer knowledge desirable.
