Maintenance Planner Intern

I.RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Objective

·Planning of preventive maintenance, coordination and supervision of all maintenance activities.

Specific Functions

·Promote an actively caring culture for safety amongst all personnel, contractors and visitors

·Provide technical and organizational co-ordination and control of maintenance, repairs and service activities at the plant/site in line with plans developed by Plant Manager and Plant Supervisor and in accordance with Monsanto best practices.

·Ensure an efficient proceeding and structured organization within the domain of delegation.

·Co-operate effectively with other departments in order to plan and run timely maintenance and preventive repairs of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

·Provide uninterrupted Maintenance & Repair administration and accountancy.

·Guarantee short/medium term maintenance planning in order to reduce production interruptions.

·Ensure efficient planning of overhauls and recurrent maintenance activities.

·Responsible for activities and supplies of the stores of technical materials, including regular ordering replenished technical materials and spare parts.

·Provide on a regular basis comparisons of supply card records with the actual amounts of supplies.

·Ensure cost-efficient management of spare parts store.

·Ensure regular inspections of electrical, lifting and other high hazard equipment. Report findings and follow up on repairs required.

·Ensure plant SCADA system is maintained optimally.

·Ensure network (Ethernet) related plant communications are tested and maintained regularly.

·Ensure work safety and work environment is in compliance with local and company’s norms and guidelines.

·Provide and ensure staff supervision and training according to their qualification and training needs as well as personnel costs.

·Establish the budget concerning all aspects of Maintenance & Repair of the Manufacturing department and guarantee its cost-effective use and compliance.

·Ensure effective quality management system within a scope of the position’s responsibility

·Provide and ensure supervision of maintenance contractors

·Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and management system set by ISO9001

·Assign and review goals, training needs and assessment reviews for maintenance technicians team

I.             EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

·         Minimum a diploma N6 (Mechanical, Electrical) or bachelor degree B.Eng (Mechanical, Electrical) or Millwright.

·         Electrician certification

·         Project management

·         Minimum of 3 years professional experience in engineering or maintenance and repairs.

·         IT/Networking

·         PLC Programming

·         Project management

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Establish clear direction and making decisions on a timely manner

 

 

Desirable

 

·         Knowledge of maintenance of field equipment

·         Financial and operational experience in project administration
